2013 is supposed to be a year of change for me. “Supposed to be” only insofar as I’m tired of how things are right now, and if I want them to be different then I have to do something about it.
I have set a handful of health-related goals for 2013, and the first step towards accomplishing them is joining a gym. I have my initial assessment on Saturday, and am really looking forward to it… even though I realize I’m going to fail miserably at many of the assessment tests. It’s the beginning that has me excited.
I am also taking up a challenge from one of the fitness sites I belong to, which is to try a new class each week. On Sunday they have a “Studio Cycle” class that I’m going to attend. It says all levels are welcome… I hope they truly mean that!
